About us

We, the members of this movement, are committed to fostering companionship and spontaneous friendship between youth and seniors in local settings. We believe that intergenerational connections are essential for social cohesion and well-being, and that creating a self-sustaining, growing ecosystem of intergenerational connections can benefit both individuals and the broader community.

Our Approach

At GrandBuddys, we believe in the power of inter-generational connections to build thriving communities. Our mission is to bridge the gap between grandparents and the younger

Hyper Local Focus

Our focus is hyper-local, prioritizing bringing together people from the same neighborhood, town, or city. By doing so, we create a tight-knit community that fosters friendships and support networks that span generations.

Free and Inclusive

GrandBuddys is completely free! We don’t charge membership fees, and we’re not in this to make a profit. Our aim is simply to create a community that is inclusive, welcoming, and dedicated to building inter-generational connections.

Changing the Aging Paradigm

The purpose of this movement is to create a self-sustaining, growing ecosystem of intergenerational connections, centered around companionship and spontaneous friendship between youth and seniors in local settings. We believe that such an ecosystem can promote social cohesion, mutual support, and local resilience, while also fostering a sense of purpose and well-being among individuals of all ages.
